yMargin Shift -- scales image to provide up to a 2-inch left-hand margin for hole punching or binding

yBook Original -- divides an original placed on the document glass into two simplex pages or one duplex page

yCreate Booklet -- creates a sequence of collated output that, when folded in half, forms a booklet

Job Setup

yMaximum fax resolution: 400 x 400 dpi

yFax speed: 33.6 Kbps

yAddress Book -- search LDAP and/or internal shortcut directory for names with associated fax numbers

ySimple Fax -- enter fax numbers from hard button keypad or virtual keypad on touch screen

yFax Cover Page -- enter “To”, “From” and “Message” -- shows completed page before sending for user verification

yOriginal -- designates original size for auto scaling based on receiving machine’s print-size capability

yBook Original -- divides an original placed on the document glass into two (2) pages

ySides – used to select duplex original for one-step faxing of duplex originals

yAdvanced Duplex -- set duplex original bindings and orientation

yFax Shortcuts -- 99999 shortcut numbers to designate individuals or groups

yDelayed Send -- set time and date to initiate current fax job

yFax Queue -- displays list of outgoing faxes and a current incoming fax if in process

yStation ID can be switched between station name and station number

yLighter or Darker -- adjusts the fax output darkness

yEdge Erase -- eliminates smudges or information around the edge of the original document

yResolution Settings – set fax resolution to standard (200 x 100 dpi), fine (200 x 200 dpi), superfine (300 x 300 dpi) or ultra fine (400 x 400 dpi)

yContent -- sets the scanner mode for text, mixed or photo

yE-mail Shortcut Keys -- 99999 numbers available to designate individuals or groups

yE-mail Subject -- enter subject via virtual keyboard

ySelect automatic “send to self”

yE-mail Message -- enter message via virtual keyboard

yFormat -- select PDF, JPEG, TIFF or PostScript (PDF, TIFF, PS support multi-page images in a single file; JPEG is a single page per file name)

yOriginal -- designates original size for scanning

ySides -- used to select simplex or duplex, portrait/landscape original

yAdvanced Duplex – set duplex original bindings and orientation
