Make sure a cartridge is in the printer.

Remove and then load paper.

Check the ink level, and install a new print cartridge if necessary.

1Remove the print cartridge. For more information, see “Removing a used print cartridge” on page 37.

2Make sure the sticker and tape have been removed.

3Reinsert the print cartridge. For more information, see “Installing a print cartridge” on page 38.

1Press to turn the printer off.

2Disconnect the power supply cord from the wall outlet.

3Gently remove the power supply from the printer.

4Push firmly to reconnect the power supply to the printer.

5Reinsert the power supply cord into the wall outlet.

6Press .

Poor photo quality

Examples of poor photo quality include:

Blank pages

Dark print

Faded print

Incorrect colors

Light and dark bands in print
