Solution 4

1Press to turn the printer off.

2Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.

3Gently remove the power supply from the printer.

4Reconnect the power supply to the printer.

5Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

6Press to turn the printer on.

1Close all open software applications.

2Disable any anti-virus programs.

3Double-click the My Computer icon.

In Windows XP, click Start to access the My Computer icon.

4Double-click the CD-ROM drive icon.

5If necessary, double-click setup.exe.

6Follow the instructions on the computer screen to install the software.

1Visit our Web site at www.lexmark.com to check for the latest software.

2In all countries or regions except the United States, select your country or region.

3Click the links for drivers or downloads.

4Select your printer family.

5Select your printer model.

6Select your operating system.

7Select the file you want to download, and then follow the directions on the computer screen.

Remove and then load paper.

Solution 3

Check the ink levels, and install a new print cartridge if necessary.
