Appendix A. Straight-Through Coupler

When installing or troubleshooting a LAN, you might need a straight-through cable coupler. The LPV's Main Unit jacks makes it easy. The tester must be OFF to use this feature.

NOTE: If you suspect one of the devices is capable of sourcing PoE voltage, connect the device to the RIGHT jack. The RIGHT jack is protected from PoE voltage.
