Changing the Lamp

The projector’s lamp life is approximately 1500 hours of use. The projector automatically monitors the lamp life. After 1500 hours of use, the projector displays a message that the lamp life is over and the lamp needs to be replaced.

When you see the message, please change the lamp as soon as possible.

Warning—The lamp module is the only user-replaceable part in the projector. To prevent electric shock, do not open the projector case.

Warning—To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not drop the lamp module or touch the lamp bulb. The high-pressure lamp module may explode if handled incorrectly, and may shatter and cause injury if dropped.

Warning—The lamp compartment is hot! Allow the projector to cool down at least thirty minutes.

To change the lamp module

1.Turn off the projector’s power.

2.Disconnect the power cord.

3.Let the projector lamp cool completely, at least thirty minutes.

4.Use a screwdriver to remove the cover screw.

5.Then, press down on the cover lock to free the cover.
