The interpolation methods that may be selected include:

Nearest Neighbor Interpolation: A method used to scale image data (pixels) from one resolution to another. The output pixel value is simply the value of the input pixel closest to the output location. Nearest neighbor interpolation is the highest speed interpolation on the DocuSP controller.

Bi-Linear Interpolation: A method used to scale image data (pixels) from one resolution to another. The replacement pixel in the scaled image is calculated using a weighted sum of the four nearest pixel values in the source image. This method offers higher quality than Nearest Neighbor Interpolation.

Smart Interpolation: A method used to scale image data (pixels) from one resolution to another. This interpolation method automatically chooses between bi-linear interpolation and filtered interpolation based on the input image characteristics. Smart interpolation is the highest quality interpolation available on DocuSP.
