(Custom installations: If you enabled role separation when you installed the database server, you could have changed the name of the
vAutomatically assigned the informix user account, under which the database server runs, to the
vGranted the following advanced privileges to the informix user account:
–Logon as service
–Act as part of the operating system
–Increase quotas
–Replace a process level token
–Debug programs
–Manage auditing and security log
IDS Program Group
An IBM Informix Dynamic Server program group is on the Windows Start Menu after installation completes.
To access the following items on the database server program group, click Start → Programs → IBM Informix Dynamic Server. The following table describes the program group menu.
