Printing Labels
To print labels, the host computer sends commands to the printer via the serial or parallel communication port. If you are using label print- ing software, the computer and software control the entire printing process. You only need to set up the printer, start your label printing program, and follow its instructions. Contact the software supplier or manufacturer if you encounter difficulties.
Controlling the Printer Using Direct Commands

Routine Maintenance
CX 400 needs very little maintenance other than occasional cleaning. If cleaning the printer body is required, using soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent cleaner. Clean the print head if it appears dirty or if print quality is poor. Print head cleaning is easy and fast:
1. Unlatch and raise the print head if it is not already raised.
