4.13 Defaults Menu

Selecting “Defaults” from the main menu will bring up the two options described below.

Load Fail-Safe Defaults

If the user presses <Enter> on this item, a dialog box with a message similar to the following will pop up:

Load Fail-Safe Defaults (Y/N) ? N

Pressing ‘Y’ loads the BIOS default values for the most stable, minimal- performance system operations.

Load Optimized Defaults

If the user presses <Enter> on this item, a dialog box with a message similar to the following will pop up:

Load Optimized Defaults (Y/N) ? N

Pressing ‘Y’ loads the default values that are factory settings for optimal performance system operations.
