Note: During a failover where the storage agent is sending data directly to the server by proxy because it cannot store the data directly, the QUERY SESSION statistics on the server will show a much higher byte count.

vIssue either of the following QUERY ACTLOG commands on the server to which the client is connected:

query actlog search=storage_agent_name msgno=8337 query actlog search=storage_agent_name

If the query finds entries in the activity log that relates to the storage agent, the client is using LAN-free data transfer.
