Installing SFP Modules

Bale Clasp SFP Modules

The bale clasp SFP module has a bale clasp that you use to secure the SFP module in a port. (See Figure 2-17.)

To insert a bale clasp SFP module into a port, perform the following steps:

Step 1 Close the bale clasp before inserting the SFP module.

Step 2 Line up the SFP module with the port and slide it into the port. (See Figure 2-18.)
