Table 2-2 describes the ELS10-26 buttons.

2.2 INSTALLING AN FEPIM

Only qualified personnel should perform installation procedures.

The ELS10-26 provides a slot for a Cabletron FEPIM (Fast Ethernet Port Interface Module). The ELS10-26 is shipped without an FEPIM. To install an FEPIM, follow the procedure below:

1.Remove the power cord.

2.Remove the cover of the ELS10-26.

3.Remove the two screws securing the plate on the side of the FEPIM slot.

4.Install the FEPIM as shown in Figure 2-2. Ensure that the rear connector is seated firmly before tightening the three mounting screws.

5.Replace the plate and two screws on the side of the FEPIM slot.

6.Replace the cover of the ELS10-26.
