Configuring Your ELS10-26

To display information about a specific workgroup, at the LCM prompt:

1.Type workgroup NAME

To create or modify a workgroup, at the LCM prompt:

1.Type workgroup NAME PORT-RANGE INFO

To delete a workgroup, at the LCM prompt:

1.Type workgroup NAME delete

To create or modify the port list for a specific workgroup, at the LCM prompt:

1.Type workgroup NAME PORT-RANGE

To display the network classification of a specific workgroup, at the LCM prompt:

1.Type workgroup NAME INFO

3.12 ASSIGNING A COMMUNITY NAME

A community name is similar to a password. You use the same steps to assign a new community name or to change an existing community name. You can then enter a community name to perform any SNMP sets. The default password is public the first time you access the device.

To assign a community name, at the LCM prompt:

1.Type community

2.Enter the old community name.

3.If one has not been assigned, public is the default name.

4.Enter the new community name.
