ReadiManager® System Setup

This chapter describes the steps to set up a ReadiManager® SE200 network appliance and connect it to the network.

Note

If you are installing a redundant ReadiManager system configuration, perform all of the procedures in this chapter on both ReadiManager SE200 appliances.

Collect Necessary Materials

Before you install a ReadiManager SE200 appliance, collect these materials:

•ReadiManager SE200 shipment

•Completed Site Survey and First-Time Setup Worksheet

•Computer with a serial or ethernet port

To connect to the ReadiManager SE200 appliance through an ethernet port, make sure you also have:

•A crossover cable OR

•A hub or a switch and two ethernet cables
