Menu Descriptions & Functions [Reset]

Resetting settings and adjustments [Reset]

The Reset feature allows you to change adjustments and settings to the factory preset for a (all) source (s) except the following:

[Current signal]

Resets the adjustments for the current signal to the factory preset levels.

The items that can be reset are: [Image mode], [Brightness], [Contrast], [Sharpness], [Color level], [Color bal- ance], [Aspect], [Horizontal position], [Vertical position], [Clock], [Tracking] and [Video filter].

[All data]

Reset all the adjustments and settings for all the signals to the factory preset.

All items can be reset except [Language], [Communication speed], [Password], [Filter message]*¹, [Fan mode]*², [Remaining lamp time], [Lamp counter] and [Filter counter].

*¹: The Filter message item can be selected on LV-7365 only.

*²: The Fan mode settings will not be reset only on LV-7365.

Clearing Lamp Hour Meter [Lamp counter]

Resets the lamp clock back to zero. Selecting this option displays submenu for a confirmation. Select [Yes] and press the OK button.

NOTE:Elapsed time of the lamp use will not be affected even when [Reset] is done from the menu.

NOTE: The projector will turn off and go into standby mode after 2100* hours (up to 3100* hours in Quiet mode) of service. If this happens, press the INFO button on the remote control for ten seconds to reset the lamp clock back to zero. Do this only after replacing the lamp. * LV-X7: 3100 hours (up to 4100 hours in Quiet mode).

NOTE: Resetting the lamp counter before or without replacing the lamp will not display the exact lamp usage hours. Using the lamp beyond its service life may cause the lamp to break. Be sure to reset the lamp counter after replacing the lamp.

Clearing the Filter Usage Hours [Filter counter]

Resets the filter usage back to zero. Selecting this option displays submenu for a confirmation. Select [Yes] and press the OK button.

NOTE: Elapsed time of the filter use will not be affected even when [Reset] is done from the menu.
