INTRODUCTION

The DP027010 is a military computer designed primarily for use as a hardware workstation which runs on the Windows ® operating system. This military computer is a fully self-contained PC-compatible computer with a built-in flat screen display and resistive touch screen. The video is provided by a Chips and Technologies 65555 video processor on the PCI-FPCARD. The DP027010 features include a Pentium IIITM CPU to 850 MHz, 10Base2 Ethernet, 512 Mbytes with one double sided non-registered DIMM, and Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports. The unit is housed in a rugged metal case. The DP027010 military computers are manufactured with an auto ranging main power input unit, which allows operation from 90 to 138 VAC. The unit is supplied completely assembled and requires only mounting and connecting.

Before powering up your system for the first time, you should refer to the procedures in the first section of this manual, which contain information you will need to set up the operating system and network communications.

I/O features

The DP027010 includes the following jacks: Com 2&3, 10Base2 pairs RX1&TX1, RX2&TX2, LPT-1, USB1&2, and the combined keyboard and mouse. The Ethernet I/O is designed to provide a dual 10Base2 interface to a network.
