Clearances:
Airflow: Inlets and outlets must have at least 1 inch (25mm) around them and not be obstructed for adequate airflow to maintain the correct working temperature. In a military environment, the panel into which the unit is mounted should provide protection from dust.
Cabling: All input/output (I/O) connections are via bottom access. At least 8 inches (20cm) of unobstructed space is required at the bottom of the computer for unrestricted cable connection. See figures 9 and 10 for bottom connector panel layout.
Brackets: See figures 3 and 4 for proper clearances for each bracket assembly. An access area of approximately 4 inches (10 cm) to the sides is required in the area of the allen screws that mount the computer to the bracket.
