Using the menus on the Configure Device screen

 

The following procedure is provided only as an example. Similar procedures can be used to set

 

other menu items.

 

Follow these steps to select a different default paper size (example procedure).

 

1 Click PAPER HANDLING.

 

2 Select Letter from the list, and then click Apply to save the change.

 

 

Note

Printer drivers and software programs frequently override selections that are made on the

 

Printing menu and the Paper Handling menu. For more information, see the user guide that

 

came with your product.

 

Any changes are reflected on the Printer Status screen, the Configuration Page screen, and the

 

Paper Handling menu.

E-mail Server

Use the E-mail Server screen to configure e-mail settings for outgoing and incoming e-mail. Use the settings on this screen to send and receive e-mail messages, including product alerts. The following illustration, table, and procedures describe how to use this screen.
