Using the MAIN IN Function (A-9755 only)
You can use the
POWER AMP DIRECT (MAIN IN)
1 | Press the [POWER AMP DIRECT |

| until the MAIN IN indicator lights up. |
| The MAIN IN function comes on and |
| the MAIN IN indicator lights up. |
| While the MAIN IN function is on, |
| only audio from components con- |
| nected to the preamp can be output. |
| To turn the MAIN IN function off, |
| press the [POWER AMP DIRECT |
| (MAIN IN)] button for 3 seconds until |
| the MAIN IN indicator goes off. |
Notes:
•Do not connect a component that does not have an output volume con- trol to the MAIN IN jacks and use the MAIN IN function, because the sound will be output at maximum volume and may damage the

Operate the connected preamp for some of these functions including controlling volume, selecting input, and muting. The [STANDBY] and [ON] buttons on the remote control- ler will work even when the MAIN IN function is on.

Notes:
•You can record on a recorder that’s connected to the MD OUT or TAPE OUT L/R jacks.
•The tone controls have no effect on the signal being recorded.
