Using the Memory function, you can select your favorite tracks (up to 25 tracks) on an MD and arrange them in the desired order.

1 When the MD recorder is stopped, press the MEMORY button (RC-409MD).

With the RC-398S remote controller, press the PLAY MODE button until “MEMORY” appears on the display.

2 Using the AMCS knob, select the tracks in order you want to play.

Turn the AMCS knob until the track number you want to store is displayed (the playing time of the track is displayed). Then, press the AMCS knob to store the track.

Note

If the total playing time of the programmed tracks exceeds 256 minutes, "---m--s" will be displayed.

3 Press the n button (or the s button on the remote controller) to start Memory play.

When the playing of all stored tracks is over, the MD recorder stops, retaining the stored tracks in memory.

To exit the Memory play mode

When the MD recorder is stopped, press the CONTINUE button on the remote controller (RC- 409MD).

With the RC-398S remote controller, press the PLAY MODE button until “MEMORY” disappears from the display.

Clearing the last track stored

Press the CLEAR or e button on the remote controller.

The last track in memory is cleared.

Checking the stored contents

To check the tracks stored in memory, press the d/fbutton when the MD recorder is stopped.
