Setting the CD dubbing mode

You can set either "Album" or "Fadeout" CD dubbing mode. In the Album CD dubbing mode, the track being recorded will be discarded if the end of MD is reached during recording. In the

effect will be applied to the last but incompletely recorded track of MDs.

The CD dubbing mode setting is possible only when the MD recorder is stopped.

When your MD-105X is configured into a system with Onkyo Separate Collection series components (A-905X and C-705X), recording from the CD dubbing can be started simply pressing the CD DUBBING button on the MD- 105X.

To perform CD dubbing, your CD player must be connected through an optical cable to the DIGTAL INPUT 1 terminal located on the rear panel of the MD recorder. (for details, see the section "System connections" of the A-905X Instruction Manual.)

Note

CD-dubbing is not available with the A-905, C-705 and C-707CH.

When the MD recorder is stopped, pressing the DISPLAY button changes the display as follows.

The number of tracks on MD and its total recorded time

Remaining recording time on MD

Disc name ("No Name" when not set)

3 Set the INPUT selector to "Digital In1" (D1) position.

The digital input source 1 is now selected.

Note

Cd-dubbing is not possible when "Analog In" or "Digital In 2" is shown on the display.
