Synchro-recording from MD to cassette deck

When the MD-105X is configured into a system with Onkyo Separate Collection series components (A-905X and K-505X), synchronized recording from the MD recorder to the cassette tape deck is possible.

1 Insert a cassette tape in the cassette tape deck and set the cassette tape deck in the recording standby mode.

See the cassette tape deck instruction manual for how to set the deck in the recording standby mode.

To stop synchro recording

Press the e button on the MD recorder. The cassette deck enters the recording standby mode while showing a blinking s indication (Auto Space).

2 Press the n button on the MD recorder (or the s button on the remote controller).

The cassette tape deck starts recording as soon as the MD starts playing.

When the MD program is completed, the cassette tape deck stops recording and enters the recording standby mode again.
