3M™ Mobile Projector MP300

The status indicator on the projector flashes red.

The projector's battery needs to be charged.

Setting Up the Projector

The projector falls over when I place it on its rear cover.

The cover may not be seated properly. There is a tongue on the bottom corner of the cover. Insert the tongue into the groove on the projector and the rest of the cover will snap into place.

The image is tinted or discolored.

The wall or surface you're projecting onto is colored. Try projecting onto a white wall or surface.

The lens may be dirty. Use a dry cotton swab to clean it off.

Focusing the Image

The image is blurry.

Use the focus wheel on the side of the projector (next to the lens) to sharpen the image.

Reduce the input resolution. The native resolution of projector is 480p. Therefore, resolutions greater that 720p may appear blurry.

If you are closer to the projected image than the projector, you might be seeing the individual pixels that make up the image. Reduce the size of the image or move away from the image.

The image is too dim.

Reduce the image size and/ or decrease (darken) the room lighting.
