KSTEREO button (48)

Selects the Stereo listening mode.

L LISTENING MODE [ ]/[ ] buttons (48)

Select the listening modes.

MDISPLAY button (41)

Displays various information about the currently selected input source.

NDIGITAL INPUT button (39, 61)

Used to assign the digital inputs and to specify the format of digital input signals.

ODIMMER or RT/PTY/TP button (45, 46)

Adjusts the display brightness.

On the European model, this is the RT/PTY/TP but- ton, and it’s used with RDS (Radio Data System). See “Using RDS (European Models Only)” on page 44.

PMEMORY button (43)

Used when storing or deleting radio presets.

QTUNING MODE button (42)

Selects the Auto or Manual tuning mode for AM and FM radio.

RSETUP button

Used to access the setup menus.

SSETUP MIC (36)

The automatic speaker setup microphone connects here.

TRETURN button

Selects the previously displayed setup menu.

UAUX INPUT (29, 55)

Used to connect a camcorder, games console, and so on. There are jacks for composite video and analog audio.

VPURE AUDIO button and indicator (48)

The North American model doesn’t have this button and indicator.

Selects the Pure Audio listening mode. The indica- tor lights up when this mode is selected.

RDS (European models only) (44): Lights up when tuned to a radio station that supports RDS (Radio Data System).

AUTO (42): For AM and FM radio, lights up when Auto Tuning mode is selected, and disappears when Manual Tuning mode is selected.

TUNED (42): Lights up when tuned to a radio sta- tion.

Lights up when the Sleep function has been set.

Displays various information about the selected input source.
