Preparing the Remote Control

Inserting the Batteries

When using the remote control for the first time, install the batteries that were supplied. When replacing batteries, purchase two of the same type of AA battery.

1 Press and at the same time lift the battery case cover at the rear of the remote control to remove it.

Follow the markings on the inside

First insert the tabs of the battery

of the case and insert the batter-

case cover, then press it closed.

Remote Control Range

Point the remote control toward the remote control sensor located at the rear of the main unit and operate.

The range over which the main unit will receive the remote control signal is roughly as follows: within 30˚ above and 30˚ below a line perpendicular with respect to the sensor and within 50˚ to the left and 50˚ to the right. The transmission range is about 7 m / 23.0 feet.

Note:

*Exposure of the main unit's remote control sensor or the remote control transmitter to bright light or the obstruction of the signal by an obstacle located in the pathway may prevent operation.

*The remote control will not function when the batteries are exhausted.
