PROM Identification

PROM Identification

The PROM Identification option, which is available for some GM vehicles, lets you view the Programmable Read Only Memory (PROM) 4-digit identification num- ber and additional PROM related information.

To view PROM information, follow these steps:

1From the Diagnostic Menu screen, select Vehicle Info and press the ENTER key. This displays the Vehicle Info screen.

2Select PROM Identification and press the ENTER key. This displays the PROM Identification screen.

3View the information and print it, if necessary. For printing information, refer to“Print” on page 26.

4When finished, use the EXIT key to return to previous screens.
