The length of the password is 1- 8 characters, and it is case sensitive. It accepts characters defined in Chapter 7, except space characters. The password is case sensitive.

Note: If the password is changed, an indication message is only sent to the phone number that requested the change.

Figure 6 shows a dialog (User Control Mode -> Settings -> Aliasing) where aliases can be defined for commands with the Nokia 12 Configurator.
