Selecting Tracks by Number

To enter, for example, “11,” press the [1] button twice.

To clear a number, press the [CLEAR] button.

If you’re playing a DVD-Audio disc and you want to select a track in another group, press the Left [] button to select the group number and enter the number of that group first.

With the Search function you can select tracks by number.

CD, or MP3 disc (page 45).

[SEARCH] button.

Press the Play [ ] button to start playback of the specified track.

You can also select tracks during play- back by using the Next [ ] and Pre- vious [ ] buttons. The first press of the Previous [ ] button selects the beginning of the current track.

Notes:

You can select tracks directly at any time by using the number buttons (i.e., without pressing the [SEARCH] button). To select track #2, simply press [2] and play- back starts. To select track #10, press [+10] and [0] and playback starts.

If PBC is on (see page 84), and the currently playing VCD supports it, you may be able to select tracks from a menu (see page 47).

You can’t use the [SEARCH] function during random playback.
