INSTALLING THE PRINT HEADS AND INK TANKS

4 Remove the print heads from their protective cases.

Do not touch the metal portion of the print head directly. Doing so may lead to improper printing.

5 Insert the print heads.

Insert the black print head into the left carriage opening, and the colour print head into the right carriage opening.

Be careful not to damage the print heads. If any of them is damaged, the printer may not work properly.

6 Lower the print head latch.

Lower the latch until it clicks into the latched position.

Make sure that the print head latch is fixed securely. Failing to do so may generate noise or cause errors.
