CONFIGURING THE AUTOSCAN FEATURE 17
Select Configuration—This is the list of available AutoScan configurations. The configuration settings include: color, black and white, or grayscale, resolution in dots per inch (dpi), page size, contrast, and brightness. To see a selected configuration’s settings, click its icon. Click the icon again to close the detailed information.
Click the icon of a selected configuration and show its settings.
You can also click the View button to see more detailed information about the selected configuration.
Select Format and Page(s)—This option sets the format for the scanned image. The formats are bitmap and PaperPort. Bitmaps are usually for photos or artwork. The bitmap format is available when you select a destination application other than PaperPort.
Options—The Options button opens a dialog box for selecting options related to the selected destination application for the scanned image. Each destination application has its own options dialog box.
Folder Copy—The Folder Copy button opens a dialog box for selecting the folder to use for storing copies of the scanned images.
