Method B: Using your web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox)

To use your web browser, open up the browser and in the Address bar type in http://anas550 and press Enter or hit the Go button.

Step 2 When prompted for a username and password, type in admin for the username and admin for the password in lowercase letters.

(Optional: You can also type in the IP address of the NAS device instead of using its host name anas550.)

If you ever change the username or password and forget, you will need to perform the factory reset procedure to reset the system to factory defaults. To do this: Press and hold the Reset button on the back panel for 10 seconds to reset the device to factory default settings.

Step 3 If your hard disk is brand new, you will need to format it before you can access it. Go to TOOLS > RAID and click Set RAID Type and Re-Format.
