Pulse drive
Pulse drive method controls the switches using a ~30 ms pulse. As shown in the figure below, the control signal is applied to one of the control bit and held for the preset time.

There are three digital outputs and three digital inputs available in the U2121A- 101 as an auxiliary port. These three output pins are capable to drive up to 300 mA of load. The digital input pin has a direct connection to the U2121A.
