System Information

The System Information menu displays the Hardware revision, MAC address, LAN IP address and other information on the DES-3224.

System Reset

The System Reset menu allows you to reset the DES-3224 through software rather than powering off.

Factory Reset to Default Config Values

The Factory Reset to Default Config Values menu allows you to reload factory default configurations.

System Rate Control

The System Rate Control menu allows you to choose Store & Forward or Cut-Through. The advantages and disadvantages of each are explained in a later section.

Software Update

The Software Update menu is used to update the software on the DES-3224. This feature is only supported through Local Console Management.

Follow these steps to select a menu:

1.Highlight the menu option.

2.Press Enter.
