HDD LED/UID Switch

The HDD LED and UID Switch con- nections are located on pins 13 and 14 of JF1. Attach a cable here to indicate HDD activity or UID (Unit Identifier) status. See the table on the right for pin definitions.

NIC1/NIC2/NIC3*/NIC4* LEDs (*NIC3/NIC4: X8STi-LN4)

The NIC (Network Interface Control- ler) LED connection for LAN port 1 is located on pins 11 and 12 of JF1, and the LED connection for LAN Port

2is on Pins 9 and 10. NIC3_LED and NIC4_LED are 2-pin NIC LED headers. Attach NIC LED cables to NIC3_LED and NIC4_LED to display network activities for LAN 3 and LAN4. Refer to the table on the right for pin definitions.
