INSTALLING THE SWITCH

￿Make sure that a properly grounded power outlet is within 2.44 meters (8 feet) of the switch and is powered from an independent circuit breaker. As with any equipment, using a filter or surge suppressor is recommended.

Instructions

Positioning the Switch

The EZ Switch 10/100 can be placed anywhere there is enough flat space, such as on a desktop or a shelf.

1.Attach the four adhesive feet to the bottom of the switch.

2.Place the first switch on a firm, flat surface where you want to install the stack

3.Repeat step 1 for each switch before stacking them. The rubber foot pads cushion the switch against shocks and vibrations, and provide space between each switch for ventilation.

Applying Power

Plug one end of the power cable into the power receptacle at the back of the switch, and the other end into an appropriate electrical outlet. Check the Power LED to be sure power is on.
