Central Wiring Closet

With 24 parallel bridging ports (i.e., 24 distinct collision domains), the TigerSwitch 10/100/1000 can collapse a complex network down into a single efficient bridged node, increasing overall bandwidth and throughput.

In the figure below, the 10/100/1000BASE-T ports on the TigerSwitch are providing Gigabit connectivity for up to 24 segments. In addition, the switch is also connecting servers at 2 Gbps full duplex.
