MODIFYING TCP/IP NETWORKING OPTIONS

5.The “TCP/IP Settings” window is used to modify the IP address, Name Server addresses and/or default gateway.

You can change the IP address to a user-defined address by selecting Specify an IP address (click inside the circle to the left of it) and typing the address in the space provided.

You can change the Name Server addresses to user-defined addresses by selecting Specify name server addresses (click inside the circle to the left of it) and typing the addresses in the spaces provided.

Change the default gateway by leaving the box blank to the left of Use default gateway on remote network.

Click OK.

6.The “SMC Dial-Up PPP Connection” window will be redisplayed. Click OK to close the window.
