2.Ensure that the host computer/KVM switch is connected to IP Link and switched on during the firmware update.

3.Locate and upload the file from the client computer to IP Link. In case of any errors the upload will be aborted.

After a smooth upload the Update Firmware panel appears showing the currently firmware version number and the uploaded firmware version number.

4.Press . The firmware uploads. Warning! This process is irreversible; ensure the IP Link's power supply won't be interrupted during the update process, as this may cause damage.

5.When prompted, reset IP Link manually by pressing . When pressed all connections to the administration or Remote console close. 30 seconds later, IP Link runs with the new firmware. You must login again.

Attention: Only experienced staff members or administrators should perform a firmware update.
