CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS

9.HDCD INDICATOR

This indicator lights when the HDCD decoding function is ON.

This function decodes HDCD disks at the 44.1kHz setting ONLY. This is a part of the HDCD algorithm.

10.ALPHANUMERIC DISPLAY

This multi-character display provides a wide range of information concerning the operation of the CD-500.

11.ANALOG OUTPUT SAMPLE RATE CONVERTER INDICATOR

This indicator lights when the analog output sample rate converter function is on.

12.POWER INDICATOR

This indicator is illuminated when the player is attached to AC mains. After pressing the power button, the light will go out and the alphanumeric display will illuminate.
