This single-channel adapter’s Ultra2 LVD connection offers higher per- formance (80MB/s), longer cable length (12m) and higher reliability than Ultra SCSI, at an affordable price, making it the ideal solution for direct-attach storage of tape and optical drive/libraries to a workstation or server. The LSIU80LVD automatically switches from single-ended operation for legacy Fast/Ultra devices to universal low-voltage differential (LVD) operation, when LVD-enabled or Ultra2 devices are connected.
