3.2 Printer Sharing in Windows 98

In order for a printer to be shared across the network, it has to be set as the network printer. Follow the instructions below to set a printer as a network printer:

1.Click the “ Start “ button, point to the “ Settings “, and then click “ Printers “.

2.In the Printers window, click the printer you want to share.

3.Click “ Sharing… “ on the “ File “ menu.

4.Click the Sharing tab, then click “ Shared As “, and if necessary, enter a password.
