“Enable” activates the wireless function only: The MFP server’s wireless LAN will be enabled and Ethernet will be disabled.

“Disable” de-activates the wireless function: The MFP server’s wireless LAN will be disabled and Ethernet will be enabled.

Domain Country: The wireless channels vary from country to country. Generally, the channels are from 1 to 11 in the U.S. and from 1 to 13 in Europe. The operating channel will be set at the factory. If you move or travel to a different country, set the available channels according to your location.

4.8 Wireless Configuration

Double-click the Wireless icon and enter your username and password to display the wireless configuration screen. The default values: Username = admin; Password = 1234.

Infrastructure Mode

In Infrastructure mode, you need to let the MFP server associate with an access point. You can let the MFP server scan for an available access point automatically or manually assign the SSID of the access point you want to use. If you choose to let the MFP server scan for an available access point, the following screen will display.
