9. MFP server Installation with MAC OS
LPR (Line Printer Remote) printing allows Macintosh computers to connect to printers via TCP/IP. LPR printing can be set up on any Macintosh with version 9.x or above.
9.1 Mac 10.4.x
1.Open “Print and Fax” from System Preferences.
2.With the Printing tab selected, click “Add.”
3.When the printer browser opens, select “IP Printer.”
4.On the IP Printer screen, make the following entries/selections.
•Protocol: Select “Line Printer Daemon - LPD.”
•IP Address: Enter the MFP server’s IP address; e.g., 192.168.2.3.
•Queue: Enter ‘’p1.”
