Functions and Features

The Enterasys BL‐69551ENT Single‐Port Power Over Ethernet Adapter supports applications in which AC power is difficult to access, such as VoIP phones, wireless LAN access points or Internet security cameras.

The Single‐Port Power Over Ethernet Adapter acts as a “patch panel” and adds ~48 VDC to unused (non‐data) wires in a standard Category 5, 5e, or 6 Ethernet cable. The BL‐69551ENT delivers both data and power over a single standard Ethernet cable.
