3.2.2 Channel and ESSID
You can set parameters that are used for the wireless stations to connect to this Access Point. The parameters include ESSID, Transmission Rate, Basic Rate and Channel.
Parameter | Description |
ESSID | The ESSID (up to 32 printable ASCII characters) is the unique name |
| identified in a WLAN. The ID prevents the unintentional merging of two |

| the network are the same. The default ESSID is “default”. |
Transmission Rate | The highest data transmission speed supports by the Access Point. If |
| Fully Automatic is selected, the Access Point will automatically select |
| the optimum rate allowed in the environment. |
