Viewing VPI/VCI Parameters

Your service provider will provide you with a VPI (Virtual Path Indicator) and VCI (Virtual Channel Indicator) which are path assignments for your ADSL connection. WebShare defaults to VPI = 0 and VCI = 35. To verify your VPI/VCI settings, select LAN Advanced from the WebShare Home Page Menu.

The WebShare LAN Advanced Configuration window (Figure 14) displays the current configuration settings.

WireSpeed Pro is shipped with VPI/VCI preset for your area. If these need to be changed, contact your service provider for the correct settings and follow the instructions on the next page.
