TROUBLESHOOTING

WebShare Error Messages

This section describes possible WebShare error messages and how to correct them. The figure below shows an example of an error message.

E1000 – WebShare Proxy Router Not Connected

Description: The WireSpeed Pro Proxy Router (ADSL Modem) has not achieved synchronization. The router may take several minutes to achieve synchronization.

Remedy: Check the DSL cables and connections. If all connections are correct and the problem persists, contact your service provider.

E1001 – Network Circuit Not Available

Description: The ATM virtual circuit has not been established within the ADSL Router.

Remedy: Contact your ISP.

E1002 – PPP Remote Access Server (RAS) Not Available

Description: There is no response from the RAS while attempting to activate a PPP account.

Remedy: Contact your ISP.

E1003 – Invalid Login

Description: An invalid User ID and/or password was used.

Remedy: Verify that the User ID is a valid account, then retry the password. Contact your ISP if this problem persists.

E1005 – IP Remote Router Not Available

Description: The remote router is not responding.

Remedy: Contact your ISP.

E1008 – Configuration Information Corrupt

Description: The PPP account or Advanced Configuration information is corrupt.

Remedy: Delete the PPP accounts and re-enter the account information and the Advanced Configuration information.
