After the computer has restarted, the modem is ready for use. Refer to the Internet Service Provider (ISP) installation manual to install the software required for your Internet connection.
6.6Installing the USB Driver for Windows XP
1.After you have connected the Westell Dual Connect Modem to your PC, the Found New Hardware window appears (Figure 38). In a few moments, the Found New Hardware Wizard window will open. Select option button Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). See Figure 39. Click Next.

2.Windows XP: Click the option button for Search for the best driver in these locations. Select Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM…). See Figure 9. Click Next.
