Compressor/limiter
In this example, a microphone is plugged into the MIC IN jack 2/4 and a vocal is recorded to track 4.
1.Connect the microphone to one of the MIC IN jacks 2/4 (1/4” or XLR) on the rear panel of the
2.Connect the input/output of the compressor/ limiter to the insert jack 4 as shown in the drawing.
3.Press the REC TRK switch on channel 4 once to select track 4 as the recording track.
4.While talking into the microphone, adjust the recording level using the Trim 2/4 knob until segments 0 - 3 on the level meter light up.
5.Adjust the effect signal on the compressor/ limiter.
Refer to the manual for the compressor/limiter for detailed effect settings.
6.Follow the instructions on page 16 for overdubbing.
In this way, you can apply the compressor/limiter to only the vocal recorded to track 4.
