PC (Personal Computer)

on the same architecture developed by a third party vendor.
2.Sometimes used more generically to refer to other desktop systems, such as the Apple Macintosh. 3. The original IBM computer using an Intel 8088 CPU and an
PC Card
A device that fits in the card slots of an Intermec or other computer. In some PEN*KEY computers, the smaller type
IIcard occupies one slot, while a type III card blocks the second slot. The card may be used for data storage, modem, printer, wireless, or other purposes.
Generally, PC Card is used in reference to devices, whereas PCMCIA is a reference to the standard.
